Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic

The 2017 Pet Vaccination & Microchip Clinic was on Saturday, April 29.
Watch for the next clinic in spring, 2018.

Recap of the 2017 Clinic

At the Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic held in April, 2017, the owners of 282 pets (234 dogs, 48 cats) took advantage of a great low-cost opportunity to have their pets vaccinated and microchipped. In fact, even though the clinic didn't begin until 9:00 a.m., some people were at the facility at 7:30 a.m. to avoid the wait. (By 8:30 there were approximately 100 people in line).

To accommodate the expected large crowd (and to guard against inclement weather), the clinic was held at the spacious Vernon Hills Public Works facility.

Although we hosted the event, its success would not have been possible without the assistance and cooperation of the people at Lake County Animal Care & Control. Also, a big thanks to the Vernon Hills Public Works Department for the use of the facility.

By the way, if you haven't had your pet microchipped, you may want to consider it. Click here for more information.
