Mailbox Damages During Snow Removal Operations

As a reminder, residents are responsible for contacting the Vernon Hills Public Works Dept. to report damage to their mailbox caused by a Village plow during a snow removal operation. Damages must be reported immediately after the event in which the damage occurred. Please do not wait until Winter has passed to report a claim. The deadline to report all claims for damage is April 15th. For significant damages, residents may choose between 3 options to have their mailbox repaired or replaced. Please refer to the attached link for further details about this program and the various options to choose from.
