GLMV Coats For Vets

Background

The Village of Vernon Hills is proud to partner once again with the GLMV Chamber of Commerce Network and the Midwest Veterans Closet for the annual Coat Drive for Vets.

As the economy has worsened, more veterans have sought the assistance and more charitable organizations are needed to help address this issue.

A Year-Round Effort

The Vernon Hills Police Department will always accept coat donations. New and gently used coats can be dropped off anytime (we're open 24/7) in the blue collection box located in the lobby of the police department.
During the summer, coats are collected at the Motors On Milwaukee Cruise Night car shows that are coordinated by Officer Dan Mead and Officer Santos Rodriguez.

The contact at the Vernon Hills Police Department is Melissa Jasso. She can be reached by calling 847-247-4894.
