Please join the Village of Vernon Hills, Countryside Fire Protection District, Vernon Hills Police Department and the Vernon Hills Park District on Saturday, November 27, 2021 as we light the Village Tree and Menorah. We'll gather outside to count down and flip the switch. Santa is expected to be on hand for some socially distant photo opportunities. Enjoy refreshments and conversation as we continue this Vernon Hills tradition.

Vernon Township Outreach

Vernon Township offers several programs throughout the year to lend a hand. Sponsor-A-Family programs include Thanksgiving dinners (November), holiday gifts (December), and school supplies (July). If you wish to help with a sponsorship, or if you are in need, please contact Township Caseworker Nancy Urice at 847-634-4600 or Nancy@vernontownship.com. The Vernon Township Food Pantry has also published their Fall Wish List – which includes items such as mac & cheese, boxed potatoes, soups and more.
