New Year’s Day Winter Storm Threat

A winter storm is predicted to impact the area on the afternoon and night of New Year's Day and into early Sunday morning.  Travel WILL be impacted across much of the area. Prepare for much longer travel times on snow/ice covered roads. If possible, consider traveling on Friday or on Sunday after snow removal.
According to Village Ordinance, vehicles cannot be parked on Village streets within 12 hours after a snowfall of two inches or more. While this may serve as a minor inconvenience to some residents, it is absolutely necessary to have a free path for our snow plows to clear the streets in a timely fashion. With the anticipated winter storm tracking this way, no overnight parking permission will be granted during this time period.
