Holiday  Trash & Recycle Information

The Holiday season is upon the Village! Please remember that Advanced Disposal will not be picking up refuse or recycling on Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 23), Christmas (Monday, December 25), and New Years Day (Monday, January 1). Routes will be pushed back one day following a holiday. For example, residents whose collection is on Thanksgiving (Thursday) will be picked up on Friday and residents whose collection day is Friday will be picked up on Saturday.

Refuse and Recycling Containers

The Village would like to remind residents to be mindful of mother nature when placing refuse and recycling containers out for pick-up. Strong winds, winter conditions, or even the neighborhood raccoon may cause your container to spill onto the roadway or your neighbors property. By ensuring the container is completely closed and placed on a level surface, these situations can be mitigated. For more information on the Village's refuse and recycling services, please visit or contact Joe Carey, Assistant Village Manager at
