The following is a message from the Village of Vernon Hills…

As a result of repair work performed by the Lake County Public Works Department (the Village’s water supplier) on Tuesday, June 19, many Vernon Hills residents experienced a loss of water.

While the outage was relatively short, the disruption did cause a temporary boil order to be issued for several sections of the community.
