Recycle Your Old Gym Shoes

The Vernon Hills Public Works Department in cooperation with the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) is a collection site for worn and gently worn gym shoes. Shoes can be dropped off at the Public Works facility located at 490 Greenleaf Drive, Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. in the building's front lobby entrance. Please make sure that all metal is removed from all shoes.
