Parking

PARKING:

There is very limited parking available at the Vernon Hills Days site, except handicap parking. If you require handicap parking, please talk with the security officers and follow their directions on where to park.  Parking is available at Hawthorn Mall near Macy's upper level parking lot – and then walk west to the Vernon Hills Days grounds, which are located on the west side of Lakeview Parkway, just north of Hawthorn Parkway. Parking may also be available at commercial and private lots near the grounds.

DIRECTIONS TO MALL PARKING:

Local Residents are encouraged to walk or use public transportation.

NORTH & SOUTH ON I94: Traveling north or south on I 94 exit on US Route 60 (Townline Road) and turn west off the exit ramp, toward Vernon Hills. Drive approximately 3 miles and turn left (north) on Ring Drive and park in the Macy's parking lot at Hawthorn Mall.

NORTH & SOUTH ON ROUTE 45: Traveling north or south on Route 45 (Lake Street) turn east on US Route 60 (Townline Road). Drive approximately 2 miles to Ring Drive and turn left (north) and park in the Macy's parking lot at  Hawthorn Mall.

NORTH & SOUTH ON ROUTE 21: Traveling north or south on Route 21 (Milwaukee Ave) turn west on Route 60 (Townline Road). Drive 1/2 mile and turn north on Ring Drive and park in the Macy's parking lot at  Hawthorn Mall.

NORTH ON ROUTE 53: Go north on Route 53 until it merges into Lake Cook Road and exit east on Lake Cook Road. Travel east about 2 miles to Arlington Heights Road and turn left (North). Drive 1.5 miles to Route 83 and turn left, the road swings to the north and turns into Route 45. Drive about 8 miles to Route 60 (Townline Road) and turn right (east). Drive approximately 2 miles and turn left (north) on Ring Drive and park in the Macy's parking lot at Hawthorn Mall.
