The Village of Vernon Hills will have the following Public Offices up for election on the April 1, 2025 ballot:
- Village President – 1 position – 4 year term
- Village Trustee – 3 positions – 4 year term

Candidates should keep the following dates in mind:
- August 20, 2024 – First day to circulate petitions
- November 12, 2024 – First day to file nomination petitions
- November 18, 2024 – Last day to file nomination petitions
- April 1, 2025 – Election Day
