and women of Vernon Hills Police Department are committed to our partnership with the community and to delivering professional police services. We are only effective in keeping a peaceful community through such partnerships. We understand that the authority given to us is only effective if we are valued, trusted and respected by the public at large. We feel fortunate to work in a community with such strong support of its public servants however; we do not take such support for granted and endeavor to strengthen it in all of our interactions. We have high expectations for ourselves and our work, and understand the need to be transparent and honest in our actions and engagements.
